Diego Maradona Museum and Railway Station

Memory
The master plan for the Maradona station is developed on the land adjacent to the Belgrano Sur railway station, Alsina-Aldo Bonzi branch. A linear circuit makes the best use of the dimensions of the land, creating a pedestrian circuit between cultural buildings, an open-air shopping centre and a linear park made up of squares and play areas.
The centrepiece of the master plan is a Museum and Cultural Centre dedicated to the football star. This long and compact building, which structures the complex, will have permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, 3D and virtual reality experiences, a restaurant and merchandising. The building begins at an entrance plaza and ends by integrating the childhood pasture where Maradona played.
The building's surroundings are organised by a commercial art promenade. These premises will mainly house gastronomic activities with food courts and sportswear, thus consolidating a sequence of spaces that will alternate leisure with recreation.
A space for social integration dedicated to children and adolescents and a sports centre with a sports education and sports theory centre are also proposed.
The environment improves to accommodate the new buildings and the new buildings improve the environment, consolidating a virtuous circle.
